It’s time to celebrate! Happy “A Better Way with AI Day”

A few years ago, I stood on the stage at Opentalk 2018, laying out a vision for a future where AI wasn’t just a feature, but the backbone of every interaction in customer experience. I believed then, as I do now, that AI could transform how companies engage with their customers.

Today, I’m excited to see how far we’ve come—and what better way to celebrate these achievements than with an AI-dedicated day? I’m thrilled to announce that this October 23, we will celebrate the national A Better Way with AI Day for the very first time!

As the creator of this important day, Talkdesk is proud to put the spotlight on the incredible individuals and organizations that have embraced AI innovations to make customer experiences more meaningful, efficient, and impactful. It’s a day to share stories of how AI has led to an impressive 85% self-service rate, a notable 56% reduction in average handle time, and over $500,000 in savings—all while making interactions more personalized than ever.

This isn’t just another day on the calendar, it’s a day for all of us—industry leaders, CX enthusiasts, and innovators—to take a step back, celebrate our progress, and look forward to the challenges ahead. And I can’t think of a better way to wrap up our 100 Days of AI celebrations than with a dedicated day recognizing how AI has the power to achieve:

We powered our platform with generative AI to automate customer service through products such as Talkdesk Copilot—which helped reduce our customer CAI’s handling time by eight minutes per call,  Talkdesk Autopilot enabled Municipal Credit Union to handle 64% of calls autonomously, or Talkdesk Ascend Connect— the industry’s first suite of generative AI-powered customer experience applications suite that seamlessly integrates with legacy contact centers—providing universal access to AI technology.

Now, we’re taking it to the next level with agentic AI, transforming the customer journey through dynamic, autonomous, and intelligent interactions that create seamless and hyper-personalized experiences. And this is only the beginning, as we’re just starting to unlock the potential of AI agents for customer experience.

Our tailored industry solutions are also a reflection of our innovative culture. We recently launched Talkdesk Healthcare Experience Cloud for Payers, an industry-specific contact center offering custom-built for the CX needs of healthcare insurance organizations. This new solution complimented our existing portfolio of industry-specific clouds for banks, insurance, healthcare providers, and retailers.

Our inclusion in the Forbes Cloud 100 for the sixth consecutive year, ranking #16, highlights our position among top AI challengers across various sectors. We were also named an AI Trailblazer in the 2024 KMWorld AI 100, for our role in helping businesses leverage generative AI throughout the customer journey.

The Frost & Sullivan 2024 North American Customer Value Leadership Award is an industry analyst recognition of our commitment to enhancing customer experiences in retail.

Last, but not least, I’m honored to have been named “Best Artificial Intelligence (AI) Company CEO” by AI Breakthrough. This recognition from a leading market intelligence organization highlights the top companies, technologies, and products in the global AI market, and I’m proud to be acknowledged among such industry leaders.
