Call for submissions: Talkdesk CX Innovators Awards 2024

The fifth annual awards program recognizes customers using Talkdesk technology to modernize the customer experience and improve business outcomes


SAN FRANCISCO – June 18, 2024Talkdesk®, Inc., a global provider of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered customer experience (CX) technology that serves enterprises of all sizes, today announced open nominations for its fifth annual CX Innovators Awards, celebrating customers’ use cases of Talkdesk technology to create modern customer experience, drive better business outcomes, and improve the bottom line. 

The 2024 awards include a range of categories that give companies across different regions and industries the chance to shine. Entries open June 18, 2024, and close September 30, 2024. Winners will be announced on October 30, 2024. 

As the award program expands to highlight the AI-powered work Talkdesk customers achieve, five new categories are introduced this year. The award categories debuting in the 2024 CX Innovators Awards are: 

  • AI Rookie of the Year
  • AI-Powered CX Transformation
  • Partnered CX Innovation
  • CX Efficiency Leader
  • CX Visionary

A panel of industry experts and industry analysts will serve as judges and will recognize winners for the following categories: 

  • CX Innovator AwardCompany award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that have uniquely leveraged Talkdesk technology, either standalone or in combination with Talkdesk AppConnect partners and/or other technology, in innovative ways to solve CX challenges and deliver best-in-class customer experience. 

  • AI Innovator AwardCompany award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that have adopted Talkdesk AI products to optimize their contact center(s) and improve the agent and customer experience. Applicants must demonstrate why AI was the choice to address their business challenges, how they made the business case for AI, and how AI has/will impact customer and agent experience.

  • Partnered CX Innovation Award Company award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that have achieved customer experience excellence through their work with a partner. Examples of this award include implementing new workflows, establishing game-changing integrations, expanding program capacity, and transforming customer experience through new workflows or omnichannel offerings. Nominations can be submitted by either the company or the partner but must demonstrate how the company and partner have worked together to build memorable CX. 

  • CX Rookie of the Year Award Company award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that have successfully implemented Talkdesk and exemplify CX excellence by achieving a rapid deployment and experiencing a quick return on investment (ROI). This award is available to customers who implemented Talkdesk in the past 12 months (June 2023 – present) and do not currently deploy AI solutions in their contact centers.

  • AI Rookie of the Year Award Company award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that have successfully implemented Talkdesk AI solutions and exemplify excellence by achieving rapid deployment and a quick ROI. This award is available to customers who implemented Talkdesk in the past 12 months (June 2023 – present) and currently deploy AI solutions in their contact centers.

  • CX Transformation AwardCompany award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that have successfully embraced digital transformation as a strategic differentiator with positive business impact. Examples for this award include transitioning a contact center workforce from an on-premises contact center to the cloud, equipping agents with best-in-class tools to work from anywhere and anytime, and creating a digital front door that allows customers to engage with the company on their chosen channels. Applicants must demonstrate a clear understanding of their CX vision, articulate marked improvements, and provide evidence of growth as a result of improvements (i.e., metrics). This category is for companies not deploying AI in their digital transformation.

  • AI-powered CX Transformation Award Company award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that have successfully embraced AI solutions as a strategic differentiator with positive business impact. Examples for this award include introducing AI-supported omnichannel experiences, equipping agents with an AI-powered assistant to better serve customers, and creating a self-service experience that allows customers to find solutions faster than ever. Applicants must demonstrate a clear understanding of their CX vision, articulate marked improvements, and provide evidence of growth as a result of improvements (ie. metrics). This category is for companies that have deployed AI as part of their digital transformation.

  • CX Efficiency Leader Award Company award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that have successfully increased workplace effectiveness and operational efficiency by leveraging creative CX solutions. Examples for this award include implementing self-serve solutions to reduce call wait times, improving workforce management to increase the number of customers served during peak times, using voice biometrics to speed identity verification, and integrating key technology systems to reduce the time agents spend documenting their interactions. Applicants must demonstrate a clear understanding of their CX vision, articulate marked improvements, and provide evidence of growth as a result of improvements (i.e., metrics).

  • CX Revenue Growth Leader Award Company award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that have used customer experience insight to unlock new revenue streams, drive enterprise growth, and increase profitability. Examples of this award include companies that have demonstrated how their contact center contributes to tangible business growth outcomes, such as creating upsell or cross-sell opportunities, increasing revenue and customer lifetime value, in support of strategic business models and priorities.

  • CX Social Impact AwardCompany award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating companies that make a lasting, positive impact in their communities and the world. Examples of this award include companies that champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, raise global awareness of social injustices, or engage in community and environmental giving.

  • CX Visionary AwardIndividual award; one winner, one honorable mention

Celebrating business leaders who enthusiastically embrace emerging technologies, including AI, to create world-class customer experiences. Examples of this award include leaders who undertake digital transformations with new technologies, leaders who empower their agents to create unique customer experiences, and leaders who champion significant improvement to business metrics by harnessing powerful technology to support innovation.
