Talkdesk Digital Showdown returns, combining CX innovation and community giving
Six Talkdesk partners to compete again in virtual digital showdown, hosted by CX leader Zeus Kerravala, with more than $20,000 in charitable donations committed

SAN FRANCISCO – Nov. 10, 2021 – Talkdesk®, Inc., the global customer experience leader for customer-obsessed companies, today announced that the Talkdesk Digital Showdown: Innovations in CX will take place virtually on Nov. 18, 2021. The event brings together Talkdesk and six partners across two categories currently trending in the customer experience (CX) space: customer engagement and agent performance. Zeus Kerravala, founder and principal analyst of ZK research and CX leader, will guest host the live event, and more than $20,000 will be donated to a variety of charities.
Talkdesk Digital Showdown combines two of the company’s core values: courageous innovation with environmental and community giving, while showcasing leading CX solutions from across the Talkdesk partner ecosystem. This season also takes place during the Talkdesk Month of Gratitude, an initiative that celebrates Talkdesk appreciation for customers, partners, and innovation, all while focusing on giving back.
Participating partners have each selected a charity, and Talkdesk will donate $10,000 to the event winner’s charity of choice, $5,000 for the runner-up’s charity and $1,000 to all remaining participants’ charities. Additional donations will be made by Talkdesk to The Trevor Project and to Kerravala’s selected charity, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. More than $20,000 will be donated from a combination of Talkdesk and partner contributions.

The previous season of Talkdesk Digital Showdown took place in May 2021, where the grand prize was awarded to voice-AI solution Replicant, who won $10,000 for its charity of choice, BUILD. Similar to the last showdown, each partner will have three minutes to convince a live audience that they have the most innovative CX solution on the market today, across either customer engagement or agent performance. The event brings together a breadth of technology solutions – all from Talkdesk AppConnect marketplace partners – spanning the CX ecosystem, including:

Talkdesk will also showcase the integrated contact center solutions Talkdesk Phone and Microsoft Teams Connector. The audience will vote live and select the winner, ultimately choosing the $10,000 grand prize.
